Good afternoon,

Nothing much going on here. I'm at the library while my mom goes to the salon and get her hair done. It's chilly in here (I wish I brought a sweater with me).

Good news! I'm moving! my mom is getting a place (rather i should say, a condo). It's just going to be me and her. The funny thing is, we lived at this residence in October 2003-2004. And now we're moving back! I'm sort of happy because i missed living over there, and the community is real nice. The place is available on September 9th (I think). a day after my school starts. So yes, roughly things will be hectic moving things around and stuff. Plus on top of that getting things back on track. I know for a fact I'm going to have a difficult time adjusting to the place again. I somehow get used to things very quickly and warm up to new enviroments until I get quite comfortable where I am. But overall, i'm very happy and blessed i'm going back over there. And this will be a good change for me and my mother. Starting things out fresh all over again.

I MUST admit, i'm real nervous when school starts September 8th. I have NO CLUE of what teachers that I have and who's going to be in my class or what not. I'm being patient but rather curious lol. I really want to be prepared and start planning my goals for my junior year. At the same time I'm excited to be in the 11th grade, because i have 2 more years until I graduate! Yes 2007 here I come! As for education, i made a friggin promise to myself that I'm going to work REAL hard on my schoolwork and make it into the Honor Roll and make my mom proud. As for my love life, hmmmm...i'm not sure lol. But I just want to be successful and make (and keep) friends.

As for the drama, I know people will be mean and talk about me. So why not give them something good to talk about? lol. I know for a fact people will make fun of me because of my dark complexion but at the same time, I really don't care. those immature minded people are just talk, and they can't do anything about it on something I just can't help. They're going to make fun of me because i'm different and unique. and i'm not ashamed of that at all. i'm actually proud of that. It's hard trying to be accepted based on your looks, skills, integrity, charm, smarts etc. It really is! I don't mind pushing myself forward to become something grand in the future. I'm ready for a challenge.

Making mistakes? i'm good at that. shit i'm a human being. I'm not going to hide my flaws and put a mask over my face and think I'm "perfect" because i'm not. i want people to see the "real" me. I don't wake up in the morning feeling 100% all the time. there are days when I feel like crap just like everyone else. shit happens. and it's normal. because i'm going through things that a teenage female goes through. At times i may not feel my prettiest. but i don't like to compare myself with other girls. it's not comfortable, because it's showing that i'm not proud of myself. and i like to be proud of myself, it's actually fun!

Holy crap!, look at me babbling random things. it was just on my mind lol.

WHAT UP!!!!!

It's been awhile since I've written in ya. I was busy working over the summer. The program was alot of fun and made new friends. Also at the end of the program we had this Dress for Sucess Luncheon where you had to dress up and stuff. Everyone looked lovely that day.

So how's everything going? i hope yall doin well. For the most part I need to get in contact with several people due to my absence from here. trying to update my journal is SUCH a sacrifice lol. But I made it this far and I'm not going to give up.

Anywho, I went shopping yesterday with my mom. I went to pickup my winter coat that I had put on Layaway. The coat is hot!! I can't wait till winter comes to wear it! It's by PePe Jeans London. The best brand ever! I'm falling in love with it! I also bought PePe Jeans sweatpants and a shirt. But I'm returning the shirt today to get a bigger size because the other is too tight on me lol.

Gotta love em! I must be their #1 fan of their clothing. But I'm just starting out, so we'll see how it all turns out toward the end.

OH MY GOD!!! I'M SO EAGER TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!! The suspense is KILLING me! lol. I don't know how longer I can wait! My mom needs to get her lazy ass to the driving school place to sign me up!! I don't want to be 20 years old and not know how to drive! My time is here! I should have already BEEN learning since my 16th birthday back in February! Because I need to get my friggin permit and then at 17 or 18 at least get my driver's license. Yup, that would be great lol. I also need the Driver's Manual book to read, so i can at least "absorb" some material about driving. The only thing I know how to do is start the car lol. My mom won't teach me on the Jeep because it's "heavier" (i don't know what she means by that). She told me i need to learn on a car.

School is coming up soon! September 7th. at least I have more time to prepare and get school supplies and everything. Because I do things at the last minute lol. Also I need to get black pants and khakis pants for school because I "outgrown" my other ones from the previous year. I already have my uniform shirts. So I'm all set on that one.

I'm nervous about the teachers I'm going to get, and who's going to be in my class this year! but at the same time i'm excited to be a junior this 2005-2006 year, picture day coming in October. then next year is JUNIOR PROM 2006!! my first prom ever! Very exciting!!! As for finding a guy or getting a boyfriend i'm not sure if i would like to date this year. I really want to though lol. Having a boyfriend is on alot of girls' minds these days. But I know for a fact, that i'm going to have alot of crushes on guys!! lol. cute guys lol

So yea, last night I watched the "Teen Choice Awards" on FOX. I liked the performance by the Pussy Cat Dolls, it was cute. I thought the boy who won the award for the movie "Napolean Dynamite" was really funny. When he said: "More like Jesse McFartney" LOL! that was wild! Paris Hilton seemed quiet and calm (finally) and won a award for the movie "House of Wax".  And after the show was over I watched "Law and Order" on NBC. the episode was really good. when a 15 year old girl had a boyfriend who was 21 years of age and her mom caught them in bed naked. and the mom wanted the guy arrested for rape.

Yea. I'm doing well for now (until school starts that is). I hope everyone else is doing ok.

Shyess, the moment I've been fucking waiting for ALL YEAR! and the time has finally come!! can you believe it? I sure can.

Summer is here which means busting out my summer clothes, dressing like I belong to the Grammy's and feeling and looking hot this summer! Also on top of that I may want to include that I start my summer job on Monday, June 27th! Hallelujah!!! Yes babes, Candice will be making tons of mucho over the summer! in other words, loads of money! lol. can't wait

Samka told me and said, that I should have told my crush Nelson that I liked him. Uh-uh! no way in hell am i going to do a crazy stunt like that! shit, nelson has better things to do than worry about a desperate girl who wants his attention. sad yes, today would have been the BEST opprotunity to tell him considering the fact it's the last day of school. And MAYBE over the summer he'll forget about it (like THAT would ever happen). I've had a crush on him for 6 months!! aint that hilarious? shoot, candice needs to start walking on her own 2 feet again and concentrate!! Boys shouldn't be the only thing on my mind. especially the ones that are rude, conceited and much likely assholes!

I want a boy that accepts me for my personality and my personal beauty within. It would make ANY girl feel proud about themselves not having to worry about their looks ALL THE TIME! because girls all across the world whether you are black, white, tan, blue, purple, fat, skinny, tall, short, big butt, no butt, long fingers, short fingers and anything in between YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT!! if you just believe in yourself!

Let's face the facts, I'm dark skinned, and I have been made fun of since I was in elementary school through highschool. Yes, my feelings have been hurt soooo much. But guess what? I learned to deal with it! I conquered my fears my WHOLE LIFE! I learned to accept the fact that I'm ALWAYS going to be the way that I am. Loving me for myself was the only way to raise my self-esteem, and it did!! I have great friends that don't care what i look like and accept me. and i feel great!! being dark skinned won't put me down anymore. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL no matter what people say to me. because there is NOTHING they can do about it. So now what!! LOL.

anywho, I'm excited to be a junior this September and feel confident. next year in february i'll be 17 and getting a job. over the summer i'll learn to drive and have fun!!! So excited!!

This saturday is my best friend's (Nicole) 16th b-day!!! Can't wait. gonna be 94 degrees!! luving the hottness! lol. can't wait to see friends from school over her gorgeous house. I love you Nicky. I've had so much fun seeing you blossom into a young adult. being friends since 6th grade. let's keep this friendship alive girl! The birthday cookout is going to be great! gonna take alot of pictures!!

Yesterday I went shopping with my mom (well it turns out i didn't get anything grrrr. but that's ok) but i did go to the dressing room and try on some cute outfits. i tried on some nice butt fitting jeans by Angel, and sexy halter tops for the summer. i'm thinking about buying them! I'm planning of getting out the house alot over the summer than I did last year!! *Meow* candice is getting fiesty!! i'll be out alot because of my job, sylvan afternoon classes and camp in August. so that'll do. and trying to plan going to the mall/movies with friends as well! can't wait!
